E-Kaine

E-Kaine's journey is one of resilience, redemption, and relentless passion for music. Born an outcast, he grew up feeling like he never quite fit in. His mother, trying her absolute best to give him the life he deserved, put him into private schools. Although, she couldn't have prepared him for the path ahead. Picked on for being different, he struggled to find his place in the world until discovering the music of Tech N9ne. For the first time, he felt a sense of belonging. Inspired by Tech's unapologetic authenticity, E-Kaine began writing lyrics at the age of 13, channeling his emotions and experiences into his words.

By 15, E-Kaine recorded his first tracks, igniting his love for music creation. However, trouble followed, leading to a transfer to public schools. It was there he discovered lunchtime freestyle sessions, where he became fully immersed in hip-hop culture. These moments shaped him, deepening his connection to music and solidifying his identity as an artist.

Life took a darker turn when, at 17, E-Kaine fell into drug addiction. For years, this became his reality, until 2022, when he received life-changing news: he was going to be a father! That moment marked the beginning of his transformation; like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Determined to provide a better future, E-Kaine got clean, re-focused his energy, and enrolled in the Los Angeles Film School to pursue a degree in music production.

In early 2023, E-Kaine released his first song "Mittenflow", (a remix to the popular "Sleazyflow") sharing his music with the world. Since then, he has been on a tireless journey to turn his passion into a career. Balancing fatherhood—he welcomed another child in 2023—with music, he continues to refine his craft, build his fanbase, and book performances. Despite the challenges and the naysayers, E-Kaine remains steadfast in his mission.

E-Kaine’s story isn’t just about music—it’s about perseverance and purpose. Having experienced the streets, gang culture, and the false sense of belonging they bring, he now finds his true fulfillment in fatherhood and creating music. For E-Kaine, hip-hop is more than a genre; it's a sanctuary, a place where he belongs, and a platform to inspire others who feel like outsiders.

Through his unfiltered lyrics and raw storytelling, E-Kaine strives to motivate listeners to rise above life’s challenges, just as he has. His journey is far from over, but his unwavering determination promises a future where his passion for music leaves a lasting impact. He has stated before that "Without music, I wouldn't be alive. Besides my children, music is my soul." 

He performed for the very first time in Highland Park, MI at a small bar called, "The Chatroom" with old friend and fellow artist Tone Gotti. Shortly after this performance, came "OnlyThingCertain". E-Kaine's first official single, which takes you through his journey while homeless and the darkness that accompanied it. His song P.O.S is about his mistakes from his last relationship and the toll it took on his self-image.

Let Me In, E-Kaine's first official EP was released May 25th 2024. Currently working on his second EP, which will be about the struggles of addiction and mental health, while simultaneously setting up his debut album!
